Nicholas Cogliani, Chairman of the Board, Advisor
Nicholas Cogliani the second-generation owner and leader of NEWPRO recently transitioned the Presidency of the company to his son Anthony who assumed his new role as President and COO in January of 2019. Nick will continue his involvement with the company as CEO/Chairman of the Board. Nick joined the original family business in 1963 beginning as an Installer and assuming the leadership of the company in 1967. Under Nick’s leadership the company added products and services over the next ten years. In 1978 Nick realized that with the high cost of energy that there was a great opportunity to move into the new replacement window business and formally launched NEWPRO which by 1983 had grown into one of the largest most successful replacement window companies in the United States. For the next 20 years NEWPRO exclusively sold insulated replacement windows. Beginning in 2007, Nick, carefully and thoughtfully reintroduced complimentary products to the companys’ product offerings, first with roofing and home siding and in 2011 took the next step in the company’s product expansion with the addition of a bath remodeling division.
Today NEWPRO has three separate divisions serving the roofing/siding market, the window and door market and the bath remodeling market. Nick is a recognized pioneer in developing sales processes and sound business practices coupled with world class customer service. Nick is a recognized leader and was one of the initial business owners to earn the prestigious “Legends of the Home Improvement Industry” award. Nick also was a co-founder of The Home Improvement Management Summit (HIMS) a group of business leaders dedicated to promoting professionalism and integrity in the home improvement industry. Nick also served as Chairman of the BBB Inc. of Eastern MA, ME, and VT. Through his leadership NEWPRO has attracted such nationally recognized brands as Kohler, Marvin and Jacuzzi as partners in New England.
Most recently NEWPRO has been recognized and awarded the 2019 Family Business Association Award for mid-sized family business as well as the 2019 INC Magazines Best Places to Work award and the INC Magazines 2018 & 2019 list of fastest growing companies in the United States.

 

Anthony (Nick) Cogliani – President/COO
Anthony (Nick) Cogliani, third generation leader was recently appointed by his dad, Nicholas Cogliani, to President/COO.   Anthony began his career in the multi-generational family business in 1993 learning the operations from service, installation and warehouse management to applying his “quick to connect” personality to a sales role crushing sales goals and earning a reputation for sales leadership.  After helping redefine best practices and exceptional customer experience while upholding his dad and grandparents’ values, Anthony took on the role of VP Operations.  Responsible for implementing innovative technology, talent, systems and processes as well as manufacturer relationships to meet the demands of a competitive industry, Nick is “scaling up” the business earning a reputation for one of the best home improvement leaders in the country.  As one of the founding members of the national Big 12 Home Improvement organizations, Nick’s talent for building and nurturing relationships, negotiations and leadership qualities are sought after by many home improvement owners and leaders.  Nick’s experience, drive and ability to lead has resulted in continued growth for NEWPRO.  Nick is Predictive Index Certified which has contributed to attracting top talent earning his business the 2019 Inc Magazine Top Workplaces recognition.  He is a graduate of Coastal Carolina University.

 

Marci Katz, VP Marketing/New Business Development
Marci started her career with NEWPRO in 2007 as the marketing director with a primary focus on lead generation utilizing traditional marketing channels. Today, she is responsible to support a $30-$40MM sales goal with a multi-channel lead generation marketing strategy managing and allocating a $300-$400K monthly budget. Responsible for the development, forecast and execution of strategic marketing plans to support a variety of product categories and markets to achieve companywide sales goals, Marci not only develops lead generation plans but is also responsible for lead conversions with a 15-20 seat call center and management team, in addition field marketing, public relations and giving back initiative, NEWPROcares. Her past experience in client services for a leading DRTV agency contributes to successful direct to consumer ROI lead generating strategies. Marci has a variety of industry expert certifications from digital marketing to manufacturers’ recognitions and remodeling organizations. She is Predictive Index Certified, a member of the National Big 12 Marketing Leaders, and selected as a member of the KOHLER marketing advisory panel. She has presented on a variety of topics at national home improvement / remodeler organization conferences.

 

 

Ryan Spar – Director of Sales
Ryan Spar leads the NEWPRO Sales Divisions and three general sales managers with nearly twenty years of experience in the home improvement industry specializing in the in-home sales model. His variety of experience includes three years as a top in-home sales producer, to field training and leadership combined with over ten years in sales management. His sales management experience includes leadership roles in organizations ranging from revenues of $15MM to $100MM. Ryan is responsible for sales strategies, sales operations, training, and development supporting a $35-40MM sales goal for a variety of product categories offered by NEWPRO. Ryan has been instrumental in attracting great talent, new technology and innovation to support NEWPRO growth. Ryan holds many sales team and training certifications from a variety of sales training programs, manufacturer training programs, and Predictive Index certified. Ryan earned a BA in Business Management from Coastal Carolina University.

 

 

 

Kevin Felton, CFO
Kevin Felton began his career with NEWPRO in 1993 as a staff accountant. Quickly learning the home improvement business and applying his aptitude for managing the company’s finances, planning, forecasting and analysis, Kevin earned the appointment of his current position as CFO. His industry knowledge and experience in the cyclical nature of the home improvement business has been the foundation of financial fortitude. Kevin is a graduate of Bentley University.

 

 

 

 

 

 

Heather Rotondi – HR Director
Heather Rotondi, HR Director, has over 10 years of Human Resource experience combined with 20 years of general accounting and office management for the construction industry specializing in the family business environment. Heather joined the accounting department at NEWPRO in 2016 and quickly acquired responsibilities leading to her current role as HR Director. Responsible for HR strategic operations, payroll, and companywide recruiting and onboarding, Heather is a member of SHRM and NEHRA and has her SPHR Certification from HRCI. She is also a Predictive Index Certified. Heather earned her BA from UMASS and MA from Eastern University.

 

 

 

 

 

Brad Thompson – Director Of Client Services
Brad Thompson joined the NEWPRO team in 1995 and learned the business from the ground level. A position supporting service and installation quickly led to eight years in warehouse management followed by a 10-year tenure perfecting and executing an in-home sales system. Brad excelled in sales and became a top sales producer catapulting him to a sales field trainer position quickly followed by six years as a regional general sales manager leading a sales team of over twenty to achieve and exceed sales goals. Brad’s most recent appointment to Director Of Client Services, is supported by his drive, attention to detail and commitment to an exceptional customer journey. Brad is responsible for the operations, installation and production goals for NEWPRO’s Northern New England Territory. Brad is a Predictive Index certified and holds a variety manufacturer sales training certifications Brad attended Coastal Carolina University and graduated with a BS from UMass.
