Keeping New England Homes and Families Safe

Lead-Safe Certified Firm

MDOS Waiver: LW001052
MDOS Waiver: LW001052

As of April 22, 2010, the EPA mandated the RRP Rule which requires contractors and home improvement companies to practice lead-safe practices which prevent lead paint hazards created by renovation, repair and painting activities that disturb lead-based paint in pre-1978 constructed homes.

NEWPRO is an EPA Appointed Lead-Safe Certified firm and will conduct lead-safe practices in all pre-1978 homes that meet the criteria for the RRP Rule. All of NEWPRO installers are EPA Lead-Safe Certified and will install jobs using very stringent guidelines and procedures required by the EPA to ensure our homeowners' safety.

If you are having home improvement work done to your home, make sure you are dealing with a company or contractor who is EPA Lead-Safe Certified!

EPA Lead-Safe Certification

What does this mean to you and what are lead-safe work practices?

  • First and foremost, our homeowners’ comfort and safety is our priority!
  • The project is performed by NEWPRO Lead-Safe EPA Certified Installers who have been specially trained and tested in lead-safe work practices.
  • The job site is clearly identified with signage defining the work area and communicates to remain outside of the work area during the installation.
  • Waste from the job site is contained in a specific manner to prevent releases of dust and debris.
  • Upon job completion, the work area is cleaned using EPA approved cleaning practices.
