We just got some photos in from a recent installation we had in replacing some old, drafty windows with NEWPRO replacement windows. I wanted to share some of the photos– the windows are made with simulated divided lite (otherwise known as external or SDL) grids and have no bottom handles and no vent clips. I’m amazed at what a clean look these windows give the home!

NEWPRO is on the road again– this weekend to 2 (yes, doubling up again!) home shows. It will be the perfect weekend to be indoors at a home show too– forecast calls for rain Friday- Sunday! One of the shows is the New England Home Show at the Seaport World Trade Center in Boston, and I got the chance to walk through the show yesterday.
I really like the venue because it is so big and you’ll never feel crowded. The Seaport WTC area is really great too– it’s far from the hustle and bustle (and congestion!) of downtown Boston. Parking is easy and there are multiple parking lots very closeby for your convenience. You’ll also find some great restaurants to visit before or after you head into the show! (Legal’s Test Kitchen or Anthony’s Pier 4 Restaurant just to name a couple!)

If Boston is not easy to get to this weekend, no worries! We will also be at the Central MA Home & Garden Show at the Courtyard by Marriott in Fitchburg, MA. This show promises to be a great show as well, and be sure to bring the kids because there will be a big train layout there!

We’re headed to New Hampshire this weekend for the Greater Nashua Home Show, held at the Radisson Hotel.
Show times are: Saturday, Feb. 20th from 10am-6pm & Sunday, Feb. 21st from 10am-5pm.

NEWPRO is excited to announce that we are improving our windows to an even higher quality by switching to a Krypton/Krypton gas filled window. Prior to this change, we have used an Argon/Krypton gas filled window. NEWPRO is one of the only window replacement companies around to use Krypton/Krypton gas within our glass packages.
Argon is a gas that is 298% heavier than air, while Krypton is 598% heavier than air. This new change causes the windows to be much more dense. If we want to get scientific about it (and we will!): the more dense the gas, the more the window will slow energy transfer down. This means that by using Krypton/Krypton gases in your windows, the hot to cold and cold to hot weather transfer in your home will decrease dramatically!
This change will ultimately help you conserve even MORE energy at home. The inclusion of Krypton/Krypton gases within our glass packages have helped reduce our overall NFRC U-factor rating to .17. Remember, the lower the window rating, the more energy you save… and NEWPRO has the lowest window rating around!
With our new 100% Krypton/Krypton gas change, your windows will have even more benefits: the improved .17 rating aids in noise reduction and increases the longevity of the window.

I just received a testimonial letter from a customer and reading it got me thinking about the significance of customer service. No matter what you are buying, big or small, the customer service from the business where you purchase from makes a world of difference.
I’m sure I’m not alone when it comes to having a bad experience with customer service when deciding to make or even after I have made a purchase. Bad service can also be a good thing– it sure made me realize which businesses to trust, and which to stay away from. A few months ago I was in the market for a new car. I decided to check out a dealership about an hour away from home because it seemed to advertise such great deals. Upon arrival, something just didn’t feel right: it was the lack of friendliness, the lack of sincerity, and the pure lack of customer service I received from the employees there.
The dealership was out for themselves and did not make me feel valued. I know that I will never attempt to go there again, and will never advise anyone to either. I also did research and found others who had the same bad experience I did. That experience made me realize how much customer service can effect a business and lead a business to success or failure.
The experience also made me proud to be a part of NEWPRO, where our customers are the most important part of our business. We value our customers so much, and providing less than the best possible service to them is something we as a company will never tolerate. The NEWPRO team goes above and beyond for their customers.
We at NEWPRO understand there are companies, like that car dealership I visited, that do not understand what caring about customers really means. That is why we pride ourselves on our reputation for great customer service. We are not satisfied unless our customers are satisfied.
