NEWPRO has a busy weekend coming up with appearances at three exciting events…
Come join NEWPRO at the Health & Fitness Expo where there will be free fun and educational activities for everyone to enjoy. The two day event, taking place at the Hynes Convention Center June 12th & 13th, includes fun activities for kids and free health screening for adults. Speakers and celebrities including Tedy Bruschi will be talking about ways to keep your body healthy and NEWPRO will be talking about ways to keep your house healthy with energy efficient home improvement ideas!
If you cant make it to the Health and Fitness expo have no fear NEWPRO will also be traveling to Lowell, MA for the 2010 Riverfest on Saturday and Bristol, RI for the Craft & Vendor fair on Sunday. We hope to see you somewhere on the road!

NEWPRO Volunteer Installers, Greater Nashua Habitat for Humanity Representative and Recipient
As promised, I’m here to report that the Greater Nashua Habitat for Humanity project this past Saturday was a very heartwarming experience. NEWPRO donated a houseful of NEWPRO energy efficient windows to a very deserving Nashua family through the Greater Nashua Habitat for Humanity.

In addition to the product donation, NEWPRO employees volunteered their time to install the windows. There were smiles all around from the homeowners to the Habitat representative to the NEWPRO employees. The family is looking forward to reduced home energy bills and years of comfort with their new windows. More projects to come later this season. We’ll keep you posted!

You may have recently heard about the new rule issued by the EPA in effect as of April 22, 2010 – Lead Safety for Renovation, Repair and Painting. This new rule requires contractors and home improvement companies to use lead-safe work practices for pre-1978 constructed homes in order to make jobs safer and reduce the risk of harm from lead paint. NEWPRO installers and service technicians participated in an extensive EPA approved Certified Renovator training program to ensure we comply with the EPA guidelines in order to keep our customers safe from harm. NEWPRO is now an EPA lead sa
fe certified firm. Using special safety equipment and practices during installation, NEWPRO installers and service people will greatly reduce and control the amount of dust and debris that may be created during installation.
BE SURE TO LOOK FOR THIS SEAL when doing business with anyone who is going to disrupt paint in or outside of your home if your home is pre-1978 construction. Visit epa.gov for more details about this new rule.

Here at NEWPRO we are counting the days until we head out to Nashua to install windows for a Greater Nashua Habitat for Humanity project. On May 8 a team of NEWPRO employees will be donating their time to make one family’s home more energy efficient. NEWPRO is donating a houseful of replacement windows and doors as well as labor and time as part of our giving back to our community efforts. Our goal is to help significantly reduce this very deserving family’s household expenditures. Come back soon to see pictures of the project!

This weekend, NEWPRO is on the road.. going north in one direction and south in another! We will be at the Concord & Lakes Region Homeshow at the Everett Arena in Concord, NH as well at the Hyannis Home & Garden Show at Barnstable High School in Hyannis, MA.
Both shows run from Saturday-Sunday (March 27th & March 28th, 2010.)
